Once you have graduated from RCC, you have many reasons to return to campus. Many of the facilities and services that were available to you as a student are still available to you as a Richland Alumni.
Alumni are always welcome to return to campus! Come over and have lunch at MJ’s Grille or shop at the RCC Bookstore. You can browse in the library and take advantage of your privileges or enjoy an event. Your connections to RCC do not end when you graduate.
Alumni and Friends
Alumni and Friends is a quarterly newsletter designed to keep you in touch with what’s happening at Richland Community College and with the Alumni Association. Featured in each issue will be an outstanding alumnus and a “What’s New With You” alumni section. If there is something you would like to include in the next edition (updates about family, career, or accomplishments), just give us a call, send us an e-mail, or fill out our online form.
Currently, the RCC Alumni Association is compiling a list of Richland alumni for feature stories and interviews for our quarterly newsletter and for possible nomination for the Community College Alumni Awards. If you or someone you know would like to be featured or nominated, or if you would like more information, please send us an e-mail at kcarter@richland.edu or call (217) 875-7211, Ext. 203. The first issue will be available Spring 2008.

RCC Foundation Scholarships
Your children and spouse are eligible to apply for any of the scholarships offered by the Richland Community College Foundation. Additionally, there are two scholarships specific to Alumni.
Alumni Scholarship
A one-time scholarship for three credit hours tuition for all Richland alumni (certificate holders or degree graduates) interested in returning to RCC.
This does not apply to Continuing and Professional Education classes. The one-time scholarship is available if two or more years have passed since graduation. If the course is greater than three credit hours, the student must pay the difference and is responsible for all registration and instructional fees. An alumnus who withdraws from a class forfeits the waiver.
Alumni Association Scholarship
One year scholarship for tuition, awarded to all majors. May be full- or part-time. A GPA of 2.75 is required. Amount determined by number of gifts received from Alumni.
